About Me
I’m Linda Spencer, an ACA Level 4 Clinical Counsellor and Supervisor with 9 years’ experience providing clinical supervision and more than 17 years working across diverse mental health and community settings.
Throughout my career, I’ve worked in hospitals, aged mental health services, cognitive dementia memory clinics, drug and alcohol programs, forensic environments, Aboriginal community services, and private practice. I’ve also held senior and leadership roles supporting multidisciplinary teams, while continuing to work directly with clients in private practice and carer support services.
This combination of frontline clinical work and leadership experience gives me a strong understanding of the real-world demands of counselling practice, including ethical responsibilities, emotional labour, and service delivery pressures.
